Her music has received international acclaim, with her song 'Pretending' chosen as a Finalist in the 2016 and 2017 International Songwriting Competition. Kristy was also a Finalist in the Australian Independent Music Awards - also for  'Pretending' and her song 'Calling All Our Guardian Angels'.

Kristy has called Torquay on the Surf Coast in Victoria, Australia home since late 2018, when she re-connected with her soulmate, Rod, and married him in 2020. She has three step-kids and a playful Lab, Archie.

Kristy was previously located in Newcastle, New South Wales, following her return to Australia from the United States in 2016. In amongst songwriting and performing gigs at corporate events and weddings in and around Newcastle and on international cruises, Kristy performed in the musical ‘We Will Rock You’ in 2018.

Being passionate about music and providing up and coming musicians with opportunities she was afforded as an emerging artist, Kristy quickly immersed herself into the Surf Coast arts community. In 2021, she established the Surf Coast Open Mic and Koodles for Kids, a singing studio for children. Her reputation as a quality singing teacher has led to her selection by a Geelong school to teach singing this year.

As a result of Kristy’s reputation and enthusiasm for fostering and encouraging talent, she was approached to be a committee member of Surf Coast Arts, where she continues to inspire opportunities to foster a vibrant, diverse and creative community of artists.
